![]() ![]() ![]() Some of them will be audience requests and impressions, but I want to spend time on perfecting and presenting my original stuff and also learning / improving my sound and the post production part as well (do stuff to it in Adobe Audition).Ĭool, I like it!! Even the quote "Fantasy Casting like Fantasy Football for us Voice Monkeys". I actually plan on posting voice over themed vlog entries EVERY week and if I can maintain it, twice a week and work on various things. recently I auditioned for a few parts that were VO and got them., then after a positive response to my voice vlogs, I want to really work on it and share / produce a lot more voice work. ![]() ![]() Also musical ones too (musical theater type). I have a variety of character voices and different personas, I'd love to share. I do, get some paid VO work and I do vocal (singing) recording (have a single on Spotify), which was recorded in this space, and so far my recordings have passed the QA from the sound teams from various places (there is always a lot of room for improvement), but it's at least OK. My space is a custom small studio setup, but it has been designed with acoustics in mind (dampening panels surround the mic and the entire wall in front of me and additional stuff was added to all the corners of the room and tested to make sure it was ok. I will 100% watch my plosives, also this setup didn't have the pop filter added, I'm thinking of adding one and using it all the time (thoughts on that?). (I usually only adjust stuff like volume and compressor etc, not the actual dynamics for my vlogs, for VO paid work, their sound guys do everything, I just deliver raw wav files. I'm recording through Adobe Audition, so lots of ways to enhance the sound. I was trying to alter the sound a little, but I should just do that in post. I should treat it as any other project and presentation. I didn't even think about the cuffed hands thing, since it was a vlog, but you're 100% right.
